The 2nd, 3rd and 4th November are the dates for the Scottish Sea Angling Conservation Network’s annual shark Tagathon in Argyll waters.
This year they’re looking for the Spurdog shark species to catch, tag and return – and it will be in both Loch Etive and Loch Sunart, because evidence suggests that these lochs and their surrounding waters have resident populations and that the Spurdog pup in the area.
Everyone interested in welcome to this BYOB event [bring your own boat] which sees folk in everything from sea kayaks to cabined cruising boats.
